I have just installed a new release of eCS 2.0 Silver. And I am now trying to install the latest WDSibyl development environment. I get through all of the install dialog and just after I click the "Starting Installation" button, I get the following error:
File not found.
The problem is repeatable.
Any idea what I need to do to get this to work so that I can complete the install process.
The folder path does exist. There are no files in the directory at this time.
Thanks,
Mark

Hello!
I did not have this version from eComStation. So I cannot fix this problem.
Did you have this problem with an other version from eComStation?
When none, then start a eComStation-Version in a Virtual-Machine. Than install WDSibyl in the Virtual-Machine under the C-Drive (e.g. C:\PROGRAMS) . When it is ready and you can start WDSibyl, than copy all Files from the directoy C:\PROGRAMS\WDSIBYL (Virtual-Machine) to the C:\PROGRAMS\WDSIBYL (Main-PC). e.g. about a LAN-Connection
Perhaps you can start WDSibyl on the Main-PC.

Unfortunately I do not have another eCS release installed. I do have this installed on another Warp4 FP17 machine. If I simply copy the files from the old system to the new system in a new directory will the system still work properly? I'm sure I'll have to change some library, project, and perhaps other directory settings to configure WDSibyl to work on the new system. I just didn't know if there were any WPS, or INI setting changes that would not be migrated over with a straight copy. I'll use a method of copy that includes EAs.
Do you think this approach will work?

Hello!
if you in the new system the same directorystructur (e.g. C:\Programs\WDSibyl) as the old system using, than you can copy the directory-tree from WDSibyl. When you use a new directoryname perhaps you get problems with the settings. This settings are save in the Sibyl.ini,WDSibyl.ini-File and in the project-Files.

Wolfgang,
I have copied over the directory. Unfortunately, I do not have the same directory structure for the new system as I did for the old.
I have managed to get many of the directories changed. But for now, I'm having trouble trying to configure where the complib.dll is located. For some reason, the product thinks it is in my output directory and not in my install directory.
So far, I have not been able to figure out how to point the program to the proper complib.dll directory.
I would appreciate it if you could tell me where to get this changed. I've looked though all the WDSibyl menu items, and did not find anything. Nor have I found a way to change this in the project settings.
The application tab in the project settings has text suggesting that it is looking for the complib.dll file in the project output directory. I can change the icon on that page, but not this directory.
Your help would be appreciated. But things are going BETTER!!
------------ I got it fixed!! -----------------
Wolfgang, I managed to find this information in the project spr file. Once it was changed, then things worked well again. Perhaps the next programmer behind me can get through this easier by reading my notes.
Thanks,
Mark

Wolfgang
This problem is not completely fixed. Now when I create a new project, or close an existing one, it complains that it cannot find the complib.dll library.
Since my prior 'fix' suggests modifying the SPR file, it would seem that this has some specification/setting somewhere else that I have not yet found.
Would you let me know what setting I need to change to get this resolved?

Wolfgang,
This problem is fixed. The BinDir spec in the ini file was not fully populated with the OS2 subdirectory. Once that was finally fixed, this problem seems to have gone away.
Now I'm trying to create new projects, and save them in new folders, and I simply cannot get this right. I would have thought this was a no-brainer. But I guess that means, I don't have a brain.
Some files will be in the directory, some will be higher up in the directory structure. And apparently I cannot rename some files during the project save effort. I'll practice a bit to see if I can figure out how I'm doing this wrong.
I'll be back with questions, if I cannot make any progress on my difficulties.
Regards,
Mark

I cannot seem to find an installable version (yet).
Right now I am trying "Install_20100117.zip" on WinXP setup
I get error message "Exception occured: Invalid Icon format exception (EInvalidIcon) occured Program is terminated"
Most other builds I try to download and install, I get partway through install and get some other error: "The Program not found"
