accented letters in filename  Bottom

    I am doing my first backup with version 092 (the program is running now)
    I notice that at the beginning of the process, the log window listed a number of files such as:
    _
    Cannot open H:\doc\Attività 1 dicembre.xls
    No such file or directory
    _
    Checking, they all are existing files, and all have accented letters in the filename.
    So, it seems that the program is able to read the filenames, but then fails to find them back to open them when an accented à (and possibly other accented letters) is present in the filename.

    I use English locale and Italian keyboard
    If this is useful information my config.sys contains:
    CODEPAGE=437,850
    COUNTRY=001,N:\OS2\SYSTEM\COUNTRY.SYS

    I see the same using plain RAR32 outside eBackup. So the problem is there.
    My version is 3.93. Maybe should rollback to 3.92?

    Hi,
    sorry for the delay in response - I did not get the notification mail.

    As you have discovered by yourself, the error messages are generated by rar32 and the problem is rar32 related. Try version 3.92 if it works for you.
